Every dollar that is gifted to the foundation goes directly to operational expenses for the current shelter. In the future a children’s shelter project is planned, but we aren’t there yet.

Below you can find financial activity statements for every month since the foundation’s bank account was opened, as well as a most-recent overall statement for year-to-date. The board of directors and officers of the foundation serve as volunteers only and are not compensated in any way: payroll expenses are for shelter staff.

Your money is hard-earned and we will never waste it. Expenses paid for by the foundation include necessary food, cleanliness, and shelter for our clients. Things like decorations and other comforts may be donated directly to show love to our guests, but we run the shelter’s budget tightly and carefully. You can feel confident in giving to support our mission that your donations will be used as frugally as possible to minister to your neighbors here in Johnson county.
